  1. There is a road leading from the Castle to Irishtown. There was one also leading from the castle to the public road. One was leading to the North and the other to the South. There are few paths or byways now-a-days but long ago there were plenty.
    They were very old roads for they were made over three hundred years ago. They often played hurling and other games on the cross-roads.
