  1. My home is in the district of Ballindine and in the parish of Kilvine.
    There is a great number of families in it. Most of the houses are slated. There are a few old people living in the district and they are over eighty, and others ninty and others are a hundred years.
    Some of them can tell Irish stories others can recite Irish poems. The houses were more numerous locally in former times.
    There are a few of them now in ruins Some of the people imigrated from here to America in former times. The townland is not mentioned in any saying or song.
    The land is good it is said to be the best land for miles around. There are a lot of woods
