  1. People wore boots at the age of eleven and twelve years.
    The children don't wear any boots during summer. Boots are always repared locally. There are about five shoemakers in the district. Clogs were made and woven locally they are still in use. Leather was never made in the district. There was only one shoe-maker in former times against a hundred at the present day.
