    If the moon is covered over with clouds it is the sign of rain. It is the sign of frosty weather if the clouds are shining brightly. The rainbow is also the sign of rain.
    When the line of smoke from the chimney goes up straight it is the sign of fine weather and when it goes side-ways it is the sign of bad weather. Some chimneys puff smoke down when bad weather is coming.
