    The Leipreachan
    15th June, 1938.
    I heard that the leipreachan is a little old man, and is not much bigger than a man's hand, and wears a red coat, and a tall black hat.
    He makes and mends boots and slippers for the fairies, and he sits on a large mushroom while at his work.
    My father told me the following story: -
