    Spinning tops were made from cast away thread spools.
    Rag dolls were made from pieces of cloth sewn together and stuffed with fine rags or shavings from wood.
    Balls were made from rolls of paper made into the shape, and tied with string.
    Leather balls were also made, and sewn together with fine cord.
    Go carts for children were made from small wooden boxes
