    When the swallows fly very high, it means good weather.
    To see a swallow flying low or skimming the ground is the surest sign of rain.
    If the jackdaws remain in the trees in the daytime, and make a great noise cawing it will rain the following day.
    When the cat sits with her back to the fire, it is the sign of a storm.
    If the dog eats grass, it is the sign of a storm also.
    When azure lights appear in the sky at night, it is another sign of a storm.
    If you see a blue blaze in the fire at night, it means an approaching storm.
