    When they had dug down about eighteen inches, they heard a great noise, and a black dog jumped up, and ran after them.
    They told all the people about, of what had happened to them, so no one else would dream of going near it. It is said that the "fairypeople" put it there. Lights have often been seen about twelve o'clock at night where this treasure is hidden.
