- The road by which I come to school is called Dodd's Road. It goes from Mullyash to Castleblayney. This road was made eighty years ago. There is one old road in my district. It is name the old coach road. It is part of the old coach road from Dublin to Belfast. This old road is still used. People going on a visit to Keady from Castleblayney go this road for nearness.
Before bridges were made across rivers the people used to put planks across the river. These planks are used still and where rivers divide farms there is a ford or footstick put across the river.
At the cross roads the young men of the country come and chat and play skittles in the long summer evenings.
