    Holy Wells.
There are two holy wells in the parish one on the Cratloe side and the one
is in Ballycannon. The one in Ballycannon is called St. Sennan's well and the one in Cratloe is called St. John the Baptist's well.
Our chapel is St. John the Baptist's church.
People do not make rounds at St. Sennan's well now but they do at St. John's.
It is said that St. Sennan's well was
changed from one side to the other side of the road, because some one cut a tree that was growing over it. People left scapulars and rags there. Traces of them are still to be seen. We do not know if people were cured there. People drink water out of it.
