    Weather Lore
    22nd Nov; 1937
My daddy, Thomas Lynch who is 47 years of age, and lives in the townland of Creevy, in the parish of Abbeylara Co. Longford, told me the following signs for the weather.
When the sun goes down red, it is the sign of good weather.
If the sun wades or has a watery dull appearance during the day it is a sign of rain.
When the birds fly high it is the sign of good weather. If they fly low, it is for rain.
