    Hidden Treasure

    My mother Brigid Lynch aged 42 years, living in the townland of Creevy, in the parish of Abbeylara, Co. Longford told me that she heard from the old people of her district, that near our home in Creevy there is a "Pot of Gold" hidden in the ruins of an old house.
    It is said there is a black cat guarding it, and that many people often tried to unearth it, and a black cat would always appear to them,
