    no one ever dug for it, but some years ago an English soldier began to dig in search of it, and after digging down some distance he had to stop, because he said he was not getting enough air to keep him alive, that he was smothering and he gave up digging. The gold remains there, and the old people say that there is a white rabbit taking care of it.
