    There were many hedge schools in my district in former times. There is an old man living near my house; and he told me that he remembered only one hedge school. And the man that was teaching there was a stranger. His name was Mr. O'Shea. He stayed in this district for about a month. The field that he used to teach in now belongs to Mr. Smith. The name of the townland is Ardrahan, Kanturk
