  1. Some old people say, that it is unlucky to start work on Monday. They also think that it is unlucky to get married on Friday.
It is also thought, that the twenty fifth of March is a very lucky day to (change) change work on.
It is said, that if you met a foxy-haired woman on Monday morning, you would be unlucky all that day. It is also said, that any crop that is planted on Good Friday will never fail.
If Good Friday is raining and if a person got a bottle of the rain water, that water would cure any disease or ailment.
The first two weeks in April are called "Old March".
