    It is said that the robin came to Our Lord on the cross and a drop of blood fell from Our Lord's side on to the breast of the robin and it was then called robin red breast.
    The bird sits on the eggs about three weeks.When the sea-gulls and crows cry loudly it is a sign of storm.
