    6. Sillaheen is Saileachín or the little place where the Sallies grow because long ago Sally trees grew there as part of the land is wet and boggy.
    There are seven houses in Sillaheen some slated and some thatched.
    There are five ruined houses on my fathers farm, Burkes, O'Keeffe's, Beston's, English's, and Cullinan's.
    The commonest surname is Norris's, three families of that name live there. The land is much better for tillage than for dairying.
