Charles Morgan, Glanna, Killes, had a cow calving one night in May. Early in the morning the cow calved and he went in to get her a drink. As he was coming out he saw a woman running about in his field picking up daisies. He saw her go in a throw them over the door. After a week he was losing his butter, so he told the priest. The Priest asked him many questions concerning it. At last it came into his head about the woman, and he asked the Priest would that be the cause. The Priest asked him to come to that house. As he went in on the door he took the withered daisies with the crook of his stick, and put them in his pocket. The Woman seemed pleased for the Priest call on her and she greeted him. When greetings were done he said "You are taking this man's butter". She got angry and said "only that you are the priest I would scold you" "Where did you get those" as he pulled the daisies out of his pocket. She nearly colapsed and tried to make excuses. The Priest would take no excuses but gave her a severe scolding and told her that if she did it again he would made scandle of her
