    fell between the pump and the church wall. When it was taken up out of the ground it left a big hole in the grass. It fell three times but I do not know about the second time it fell, but the third time was with the church spire in the year 1911.

    Long ago people in lonesome places has Stills in which they made potyeen. They made it out of oats and barley and also it was made out of brown sugar and yeast. These people that made potyeen had to have running water close to their houses.
    Down in Cloonagh in a wood called Deeryveelick there lived a man named Thady Mac Dermot and he had a still for making potyeen.
    When old women are talking about potyeen they say "a little drop of craythur".
