- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)the horse there. When he came out there was no sign of the little man or of the stables. He took the purse but instead of money he had a few bits of slates.
- Long ago there lived a giant at the Raheens. This place is situated a little below Mortimers Castle, in the townland of Faughalstown, and in the Parkenham Hall estate.
The giant was very fond of going to Multyfarnham, the journey was very long round by the bogs, and he decided to make a road across the lake. On a calm day part of the road can be seen under the water, but it is not known whether he finished the road or not.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
