At night there was a tramp tramp noise heard down in the old cellar and the people said it was the old white horse trotting around. At night after twelve all the chairs in the house used to start creaking and shifting about the same as if some one were sitting on them. One day a man opened up the shore and looked down and he saw a big room which was a cellar. One day Daddy got down there by a ladder and he found a big round iron thing and we were told it was one of the casks in which Mr Plunkett used to keep his wine.
