  1. Ireland was a strange country in the days of old.
My grannie told me the following story about something.
Some where in Co. Meath there once lived a man was always dreaming that if he went over to London Bridge he would make his fortune. So one day he sailed for London.
He got up at seven every morning and went to the bridge. For the first week he saw the same man going to work. At last the man spoke. "I see you every morning here and pray my good man what are you doing", he said.
The man told his story . Then the stranger said "I dream every night that if I went over to the sally gardens in Kells I would find my fortune".
Now this was where the man lived , so he went to Kells, and dug up the garden and what do you think he found but pots of Gold. So he made his fortune at London Bridge after all.
