  1. Fairy Animals
    There was once a man living in Four-Mile-Water. He was fattening two pigs which he meant to sell at the fair. In those days pigs were driven to the fair, not taken in a creel or lorry. He went out in the pig house the fair night and just as he opened the door the two pigs ran out against him. He thought they were his own pigs and he followed them down the road. The pigs stayed running until they ran into Cillseógán graveyard. He knew then that they were not his own pigs and that theywere belonged to the other world.
    When he came back his own two pigs were in the pig house.
