When the cock crew next morning four men came and took away the coffin. They said if he had not opened it they would kill him. Next morning the gentleman came and found Asheen alive. He gave Asheen 3 boxes of money for himself and a fine horse. The day was up for Asheen to go to the cross and he went away on his horse. When he came to the cross the six brothers were there before him, and they asked him "did he see any man coming along the road?" He asked what were they there for? they told him they were at this very cross seven years ago and they were all to meet again there, and they were waiting for their younger brother. He asked - would they know him if they saw him. They said they would - Well I'm the man said he. The brothers called him over to see(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
