Ar an leathanach seo

  1. When a donkey brays its a sign of rain.
    The appearance of spiders on the walls indicates rain.
    If the smoke of the chimneys is blowing its a sign of rainy weather.
    When a curlew passes over the house it says, "wet weather".
    The quacking of ducks indicates rain and when the hens gather together for shelter it means that snow is coming.
    A very red sunset is a sign of fine weather and a pale sunset means wet weather.
    A circle round the moon or a star near the moon indicate a wet night.
    When the stars are very bright and numerous its a sign of frost.
    If there are bright speckled clouds in the sky especially during Spring people say its a very good sign of the weather.
    The wind from the north brings cold weather and the south wind brings rain. The east wind brings storm and the west wind brings showers.
    As the old saying goes:
