  1. Stations are a very Catholic custom. Some people say the custom is peculiar to the Irish people by decree of the Holy Father through the constancy of our Fore-Fathers to their Faith through the ages. To try and describe the stations it is nothing else than Our Lord's Body and Blood Soul and Divinity being offered up in our humble Homes for our Redemption as the same Lord was Crucified on Mount Calvary for the Salvation of mankind so the Mass is offered in our homes is just the same but the Sacrifice being offered in a different manner.
The Rev. Fr. Roche P.P. told us the stations are just Our Lord going from one district to another to visit all his people; surely we could never be properly prepared to receive such a visitor.
