    I have at home three cows and three calves and a pony. The cows have names Daisy, Summer, and Pretty. When driving the cows in or out of a field I say "how how." When the cows are in the cow-shed they are tied with a rope. The rope is tied to the cows' horns. When the hens are called "Tuk Tuk" is said. When eggs are hatched 13 eggs are hatched as a lucky number. In former years in this locality holy water was sprinkled on the eggs and the Sign of the Cross made over them before the hen was put to hatch on them. This practice has now died out.
