  1. Another Song (ar lean)

One fine Summer's day for amusement I strayed, towards a mountain most famous called sweet Sheehy Mór.

    (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)
In the Green fields convenient vast herds are seen grazing
Swift horses for racing and running of course
The Cuckoo each morning and the song birds - then warbling
In the South Sunny border of Sweet Shehy More.

The Parish all round it with Patterns are crowded,
Such a grand train of Ladies I ne'er saw before
    Millstreet lasses, Killcome (?) dashes,
Ballinagree, Suskamus and from Domnal Mór

The Clondrohid Maidens, I attest were the fairest
In grandeur their equal I didn't behold
They admired all the strangers They were so engaging
Last St Johns day at Swee Shehy Mór.

Níl sé RÓ CINNTE cé dhein ach deirtear gurabh "Farrel the Rake," do dhein.

  2. Foot Note:-
My little school is very small. The average being only 14. My Collectors therefore numbered only 3 (three). But we four did our best. I trust any little errors will be overlooked in spelling, punctuation - But all the stuff in this little Book has COME THROUGH THE MOUTHS of the People.
