- There are several ways in which we can amuse ourselves, but I think one of the most interesting and most popular ways of all is the playing of games.
School-going children are generally very fond of games, as they usually spend their leisure hours at this pastime. The games which are played at school mainly include the following, football, handball, cat and mouse, fox and cickens, ghost in the garden, camogie, highgates, skipping, fox and chickens and jackstones playing.
Those excercising games such as football, handball, camogie and skipping are excellent ways for developing the limbs, and this is the reason they are so popular among the young. We girls prefer camogie and skipping to any of the other games, as they are both interesting and excercising.
