Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)journey. He went to Heaven and asked St. Peter of the farmer's parents and St. Peter told him they were not there. He went to Purgatory and could not find them. He went to hell and he could not find them there so he drove all the devils before him to the field in front of the farmer's house.
When the farmer arose next morning, [it] was very much amazing to see his park in front of his house full with devils, all screaming and yelling and fighting. Tom stepped towards the farmer and said, "Now come out and pick your father and mother out of this." The farmer was too frightened to stir and begged Tom if he brought them back he would keep him and give him the farm.
Tom drove them all back and the farmer gave him the farm. He possessed the house and land and all the property after the farmer's death. He lived happy and content until the day of his death on the farm.
