  2. When my father was a boy there lived in his district of Cuilmore a man who went by the name of "Wheel-a-Cracker" his propr name was Casey he was a Toban who could do almost anything. In summer-time he moved three acres of meadow in one day & always edged his scythe with his thumb. After a hard days work in the field he was often know to start a dresser for a kitchen and finish it before he went to bed, & also trimmed it very fancy. Nobody could compete with him in making smoothing irons. While resting after his dinner he often made clothes baskets and hand baskets. It took three men to spread turf after him. He never liked talking while at work. One market day he was going to Ballaghdreen he had a basket full of eggs on each arm. He met a
