  2. Local Poets

    There were two poets in my district long ago namely Patrick Cullen Annaduff, Dromod, and John McDonald, Cloonboney, Dromod.
    Patrick Cullen was a native of Annaduff. He lived at the entrance gate of Lord Harlech's.
    He composed all his songs in English. "Notley's wall" was one of the songs he composed.
    Patrick Cullen died in Carrick hospital and was buried in Annaduff Cemetry about six years ago.
    John McDonald was a native of Bornacoola parish. He was a farmer
