- In the middle of our hill there is a giant's stone.
Once there was going to be sports in Rooskey and some people were not willing that the sports should be held so they asked a giant would he throw a stone to knock Rooskey bridge and the giant agreed.
The day before the sports the giant got a large stone which was to him only a finger stone. He threw it with full force so as to knock the bridge but instead it fell on our hill and the sports were carried on.
On that stone there is a track of the giant's fingers. This stone is about five feet over the ground. - You are not logged in, but you are welcome to contribute a transcription anonymously.
