There was a first cousin of the White Captain a boy named Anthony Boylan in the White Captain's army. He too escaped from Ballinamuck and was afterwards on the run but did not join the boys that went to Wicklow for Emmitts rising. His people lived beside Kiltoghert grave yard and were there up to seventy years ago. An informer named "Stewart" swore against Boyland and poor Boyland was transported to Botany Bay. Stewart shortly afterward fled the country. He belonged to the Stewarts of Cornaroy at one time.
