To draw poisonous matter from wounds, the cure is to get butter, sugar, and soap. These should be ground up and mixed together. This when applied to the wound or [?] will draw all poisonous matter, and will quickly heal it.
The cure to stop a nose bleeding is as follows:
To cure nose bleed it is good to put something cold at the back of the neck, and to hold the head well back.
The cure for the sting of a nettle is as follows:
A few docket leaves should be gathered, all of them should be rolled together and rubbed over the sting. The juice that is in the leaves, will help to ease the pain.
