  1. In the townland of Glenboy about three quarters of a mile morth of the Meeneymore school there are danes' graves. There old graves are on Garrie O'Hagans land and are supposed to be about a thousand years old.
About thirty five years ago a man named Mickey Mac Gowan was quarrying stones and he got bones and sculls or people. In this field there is an old tomb stone to be seen to the present day but there is no sign of the others.
