This well which is in Killour contains a wonderful trout that never grow old or dies. It is said he is different to any other trout. He is as white as the snow and as old as can be.

Long ago a few people around this place saw him, but no one could ever catch him.
One person who saw him said that he was resting against the flag beside the well, but when he saw him he put his head into the water and was off like a flash of lightning.
It is said that if a person sat beside that well in times of war nothing would happen to him.
