   Any seed sown on Good Friday is sure to grow. Anybody changing into a new house would like to change on a Tuesday or Friday. The first three days of April are: "The Days of the Old Cow" The end of September is:- "The Harvest of the Geese." Novembers night the fairies go around and spit on any fruit on trees or bushes. It is not lucky to bathe on Ascension Thursday. It is unlucky to go on a long journey on Friday.
