  1. Burn Ball. We play a game called Burn Ball in the months of Summer. Three or four or any number that like stand opposite one another, about twenty yards between. The one that would throw the ball to the other side would run half way after it and if the person that caught it hit her with it she would be burned, and she would not throw it again until it would came to her turn, but she would keep throwing until she would be hit.
    Late in Summer and Autumn we gather nuts and blackberries. In Winter the only game is if there is snow we throw snow-balls.
