  1. The sun appears with a halo around it when rain is near and so does the moon.
    THe stars are twinkling for frost and somes for rain
    A rainbow appears in showery weather.
    An old saying about it is;
    "A rainbow in the morning is a shepherds warning, A rainbow in the evening is a shepherds delight"
    The South, and South West wind brings most rain to this district.
    Birds come very near houses when rain is near.
    When the sky is red in the east its a sign of storm and red in the west is a sign of frost.
    The dust whirls on the road its a sign of rain.
