    grows on thatch or on the side of a wall -thick soft leaf crushed and applied ,or roasted and applied as poultice.
    (2)Scoop hole in turnip.Place salt in the hole ,and when liquid forms apply it ,cover it with piece of linen .Repeat application until corn is easily removed.,very effective.

  2. Burns:- (1) Cromacafawee (cromac -a -bhuidhe)which grows by drains or in marshy land (or moist land) roasted and mixed with unsalted butter and applied cool very soothing.
    (a) Any person who rubbed his tongue on a dead aidh lúchra is supposed to have cure for burn on his tongue.
    Dried briars were collected to make a fire which was lighted on the first day when one got up after an illness.This was done only on the first day of convalelence.
