    Home made Toys..
    Tops:- These were made from thread spools ,thus narrow one end of spool by paring .A piece of pointed stick was stuck in at the end as spear.
    Guns:- These were made elder branches by scooping out the centre ,packing both ends ,and when the piece of turnip was pushed in a certain distance ,the compressed air caused the slice of turnip to fly out producing a comparatively loud report.
    Water Guns:- These were made in much the same way except that only one end was plugged ,and the plug had a hole in the centre.A piece of flannel
