- To cure wild fire on your face rub a goat's ear to it.
To cure a burnt tounge lick a mankeeper. Castor oil rubbed on corns cures them. The cure a heartburn drink soda (baking) and buttermilk. If you have toothache ask the blacksmith for some of the water he cools iron in and it will cure it. To cure cattarrh rub a black cats tail to the throat. a mad dog's bite won't harm you if you pull hairs from the dog + rub them to the bite. A cut is cured by putting lime on it if it isn't a deep one. The cure for the whooping cough is to eat an egg laid on Easter Sunday.
