- There is a story of a woman who could take the butter off milk. One May morning early she was out with a long rope knocking the dew off the grass. Every time she would swing the rope around her she would say “All to me. A neighbour happened to be going past and when heard her saying the words he said: “half to me”. When the man said these words her charm was broken for taking butter for the year.
