- There is a fairy fort in the school district. They are called forts. There is one in Seeourm. It is circular in shape. There is a fence of earth around it. There is no entrance to it. There is a story of a man who is at present alive being spirited away as a child and found after a number of days asleep in the fort. His memory is dull on account of his adventure in the fort. All that is known is that he was found there. His food and drink in the meantime is also unknown. Some people say the Danes built the forts but tradition says they were built by the Irish themselves, as the Irish were continuously at war with one and(continues on next page)
