  1. There are three monuments in this parish one is in the town land of Bonnymuckla and an other in the townland of Drumguilla and an other is the Drunguilla also. There is one ornamented stone in this parish on the Doohamlet road. It is said that Hugh O Neill's horse stood on it and left the mark of his foot. It is there ever since.
    Hugh O Neill is said to have passed this road when he was travelling away after the battle of Clontifret.
