   were to be ready in the morning at eight o'clock. The man went for the clothes in the evening and he waited until he got home to try them on. When he put on the clothes he came up in the kitchen to show them his suit. The legs of the trousers were about one foot too long. He threw the clothes on the floor and went to bed crying and moaning. The sisters and aunts wanted to comfort him as they did everything for him and they told him to sleep until morning and his trousers would be alright. When he had gone to bed they decided to give him a surprise but none of them knew the other ones surprise. After they had all gone to bed the aunt got up and cut a bit off the trousers and she crept to bed again. The second one did the same and the third and the fourth and the fifth all did the same. In the morning the aunt got up and said "Get up Tome and I bet you your trousers will be the correct length. The man got up and tried on the trousers and there was only about one foot left of the trousers. The man took them off and began to cry again and he said if you had only said two or three prayers my trousers would be the
