Some time about 1750 hald the estate was purchaed by Mr Henry Singleton, whose family own it yet. Part of it is also owned by Lord Annesley and Mr Charles Adams. Mr John R. Singleton a few years ago built a very handsome residence at Shercock and called it Piercecourt House.(no title)

With a stripe of black velvet all trimmed round their tail
Their shoes are all made of the nice varnish leather
