    The bride should wear something old and something new, something borrowed and something blue
    Certain days are considered lucky for marriage ceremonies, and certain days unlucky.
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
    Wednesday the best day of all
    Thursday for losses
    Friday for crosses
    and Saturday no luck at all.
    Certain months are also considered lucky and others unlucky.
    May is considered an unlucky month to get married. June is lucky. These are some of the beliefs regarding the colour of the brides dress -
