    There was a well in the townland of Carrickgorman in Eugene Brady's land, and it was supposed to be a holy well.
    Long ago the people used to think that the water of this well would cure a cut.
    There lived a frog always in this well and the people thought that ti was in this frog the cure was.
    One time a woman named Mrs Smith washed clothes in this well, and when she had the clothes washed the well disappeared, and when the people went to the well they could get nothing only the frog hopping about on the grass.
